Okay, y’all. I have no frame of reference for how erotic romance performs, or how hard it is to break into the the Top Whatever list on Amazon in erotica. But I think Tarq did pretty damned well for my first attempt at writing in the genre. The picture is nice, isn’t it? But please remember, this was for FREE downloads. Not paid.
Let’s break it down, shall we?
For all my naughty readers out there who enjoy some good smut with a nice HEA, this book’s for you. I’m using my Kindle Select Days to make Tarq FREE 2/8/2018 through 2/11/2018. Full disclosure: this book is dirty.
Here’s the description:
Okay, Universe. You got some splainin’ to do. During the week of and the week after releasing my first erotic romance, downloads jumped for my first novel, Working On It (published fall of 2016). Is there any correlation to the new release? Are people checking it out, but opting for my free novel as a look-and-see before buying? Is Luke Skywalker my father? Wait … that was from a dream. My bad.
By “jumped,” I mean it went from a handful of downloads per day to almost 1,000 in two weeks. That might not be a lot for some authors, but it’s a lot for me. And I don’t know how in the hell it happened.
